Berkeley House
This architecturally important Bellevue Avenue home offers all the best of its McKim, Mead and White design executed in brick, granite, slate and pebbledash. Built in 1885 for LeRoy King, son of prominent Newport resident Edward King, the house was originally conceived as a classic shingle style cottage. Prior to construction, however, a decision was made to use the more substantial materials.
